Phillip Wong
Director of Business Development
Phillip Wong is a co-founder of AdvaTel with over 30 years experience in the technology industry. He started his career in the field of electronics developing products to meet the demands of a range of industries. Over the years, he became more involved in production and commercialisation. In 1982, Phillip took on the lead technical position at Telecost, where, for nine years, he supported customers and assisted the technical team in the company’s internationally renowned call billing and advanced call centre management information systems.
As Director of Business Development, Phillip concentrates on business development activity for the export market. He has successfully opened new markets in Hong Kong, India, Japan, Singapore, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and, more recently, the UK and the Middle East. Phillip is recognised internationally for his comprehensive knowledge of ACD (Automatic Call Distribution) systems and works closely with the world’s major PBX manufacturers in developing AdvaTel’s global market opportunities.
Phillip has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from RMIT.
